More than 16 years ago in Orange County, California Celebrate Recovery started
with the purpose of bringing the success of the 12 Steps of AA and the truth about
Jesus Christ as our higher power together. Since then more than 10,000 CR groups
have started across America and even in other countries. People are finding healing
and recovery from the hurts, hang-ups and habits that life creates.

Probably! I know, most people think recovery is only for those who suffer from
chemical or sexual addictions, anger management issues or live with those who do.
But the truth is just about everyone is living with hurt, habits or hang-ups that are
keeping them from the freedom and truth that Jesus Christ came to bring.
In these first months, Upper Ohio Valley Celebrate Recovery plans to have four
Open Share Groups and one general study for those who aren't sure about
Celebrate Recovery and would like more information:
Men's Chemically Dependent - - Women's Chemically Dependent
Men's Co-Dependent - - Women's Co-Dependent
Life's Healing Choices - to learn more about CR

The doors of the church will open at 5:30 p.m. You'll be able to purchase pizza or
tacos or some other light meal at an affordable price. This is a great time for you to
meet people or grab a bite to eat.

At 6:00 p.m. we'll move into the sanctuary for the large group meeting. We'll have
some music that's like what you hear on pop/country radio, hear a teaching about
one of the steps or maybe how someone is coming along on their road to recovery.

At 7:00 p.m. the Open Share Groups mentioned above will begin. They'll meet for
about an hour. Then you're welcome to Hang Out for a while to just make
friendships and find people to help support you.

Come on out this week, give it a try, bring a friend! We'll be waiting to meet you!
