More than 20 years ago in Orange County, California Celebrate Recovery started
with the purpose of bringing together the success of the 12 Steps of AA and the
truth about Jesus Christ as our higher power. Since then more than 10,000 CR
groups have started across America and throughout the world. People are finding
healing and recovery from the hurts, hang-ups and habits that life creates.

Probably! I know, most people think recovery is only for those who suffer from
chemical or sexual addictions, anger management issues or live with those who do.
But the truth is just about everyone is living with a hurt, habit or hang-up keeping
them from the freedom and truth that Jesus Christ came to bring.
Upper Ohio Valley Celebrate Recovery has two Open Share Groups at each
location. All groups are gender specific. Here are a few links for you to check out.

The doors of the church will open at 5:30 p.m. The CR Team is there ready to
answer your questions or just give you an opportunity to meet real people learning
to find freedom from life's hurts, habits and hang-ups
At 6:00 p.m. the large group meeting begins. We have some music that's like what you hear on pop/country radio, hear a teaching about one of the steps or maybe how someone is coming along on their road to recovery.
At 7:00 p.m. the Open Share Groups begin. They'll meet for about an hour. Then you're welcome to Hang Out for a while to just make friendships and find people to help support you.
Come on out this week, give it a try, bring a friend! We'll be waiting to meet you!

Sycamore Tree Church and each January at Brentwood Church.
