Text Box: Nursery While children are welcome in every service at Sycamore Tree Church, we are pleased to be able to provide a place for your wee one during our 11 a.m. worship service. Our nursery is staffed with two people 13 or older (at least one must be an adult) who have agreed to abide by our Child Protection Policy. Text Box: Hospitality Crew You might never really figure out who these folks are until you’re one of them! But you’ll know they’re around each Sunday when you grab a donut and coffee or tea (and sometimes juice or hot chocolate) before, during or after each service (and it’s OK! You can bring your donuts and coffee into the sanctuary—we got dark carpet on purpose!)

Text Box: Greeters The first folks you’ll meet at Sycamore Tree Church. Be sure to ask them where the coffee and donuts are when you come in the door. They’ll be happy to help you! Text Box: Acolytes/Ushers Our Acolytes bring in a flame each Sunday to light our candles. These candles remind us that Christ is the Light of the World and He is present in our service. Ushers help by passing out things during the service and pass the plates when it’s time to take the offering Text Box: Cookie Brigade The cookie brigade bakes cookies to be taken to our shut-ins and others who might need a bit of cheering up! Text Box: Meal Takers Do just that! When one of our regulars has a hospital stay or is “laid up” for some reason, our meal takers will take dinner to them for several days to help out! Text Box: Card Ministries We have two separate card ministries. The first is for our shut-ins. Almost every Sunday you’ll find cards laying on the table near the Prayer Wall in the foyer. Feel free to sign these even if you don’t know our shut-ins. It gives these older members great pleasure to know new people are coming to their church! Text Box: Something New We’re always looking for to new ways to serve you or for you to serve. In the coming years you might find parking lot attendants and greeters as well as sports ministries. If you have some ideas, just e-mail us and let us know! Text Box: Praise Team Sycamore Tree Church really enjoys their music! Currently we have keys, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass and drums as well as several vocalists. These folks enjoy leading worship and love it when you sing, clap and praise along!
