Rev. Steve Modranski, Sr. Pastor

Pastor Steve brings to Sycamore Tree Church more than 12 years of ministry experience as well as about 15 years of “blue collar” experience, working a variety of jobs ranging from the steel mills, car sales, restaurant management and the Air Force. Combine this background with raising three daughters while continuing his education, and you’ll see that our pastor has what it takes to understand the real life that folks in the Ohio Valley live everyday.   We encourage you to come out to meet our pastor.  Because while his past enables him to meet you where you are, his real passion is to help you grab a great vision for the future. 

Bill Greer, Pastor of Visitation

Born and raised in the Ohio Valley, Pastor Bill comes to Sycamore Tree Church straight out of retiring from Jefferson Landmark.  In all his years of lifting, hauling, delivering and then managing, the customer always came first.  And that people personality certainly didn’t retire when Bill did.  No, he definitely has a heart for people. His love of others is what compelled him to become Sycamore Tree's pastor of visitation. Whether you're shut-in, in the hospital or just visiting our congregation, you're likely to see Pastor Bill making his way to check on you!

Lynne Modranski, Worship Leader, Administrator & Discipleship Coordinator

Lynne loves working with computers and organizing “stuff.”  She’s worked for a variety of offices and businesses and keeps the “nuts and bolts” of Sycamore Tree Church running relatively smoothly.  She absolutely loves teaching and helping others find the truth of Christ, so she is a natural for our Discipleship Coordinator.  But despite all this, music is her passion.  She’s been singing, playing piano and guitar and writing music since childhood.   You can visit her website to find out more about her music ministry, or stop in Sycamore Tree Church some Sunday morning and allow her to help you worship our Creator.   

Randy Martin, Custodian

Randy is one of the founding members of Sycamore Tree Church.   He’s lived in the Ohio Valley all of his life, and there’s a good chance you’ve met him before if you’ve ever eaten at one of the old Weirton DQ’s or taken your film to an area Newbrough’s stores.  Randy loves Sycamore Tree Church.  Just stop in some evening and ask him about the church.  You’ll quickly see how much he loves the church and how much he loves Christ.

A Place People Can Come to See Jesus

Amy Purcell, Administrative Assistant

A background in Accounting and a special passion to have a job that allows her to spend lots of time with her two beautiful daughters brings Amy to Sycamore Tree Church’s office.  She’s been attending Sycamore Tree for some time now and is the coordinator for  Moms ETC.   Stop by anytime and meet her!

Rob Denham, Custodian

Rob has been around Sycamore Tree Church for several years now, but recently added cleaning the church to his list of jobs!  In addition to this job and his full time employment, watch for local Flag Rallies and join Rob as he shows his support for our country and the troops!
